To create a safe and fun environment for everyone, all boarding and daycare dogs come along for a free trial and behavioural assessment day before their first stay, to make sure we're a good fit.
We will slowly and safely introduce your dog to our environment and to other dogs, to make sure they display the behaviour, social skills and temperament we require from all dogs to ensure safe social play and peaceful happy holidays.
Your dog will get to know us, our facilities and routine, play with some new dog friends and learn that you'll always be back to get them at the end of their stay.

what we're looking for:
Dogs who can communicate correctly with other dogs and interact appropriately in a group setting - they're happy either playing or watching others play, without becoming overstimulated or playing rough. They are friendly, happy being handled by humans, respond to basic commands and can settle in their bedroom and rest quietly.
Some dogs need more than one day to settle in and come out of their shell, we will always give our recommendations at pick up time.

Fearful or uncomfortable around other dogs or humans
Unfortunately our environment is not suitable for every dog, some dogs just don't love being around other dogs and some feel stressed being away from their humans. It is important that every dog enjoys their stay at The Pup Club, so we can't accept any dog who we feel is uncomfortable here or is not the right fit.
