Hi, I'm Sarah, the human behind The Pup Club. For as long as I can remember, I've been crazy about animals. In 2003 I started working at a pet boarding and daycare facility and it was immediately obvious to me that I was meant to do this forever. It's hard to even explain how much I love dogs and this job taking care them.
I spent the next fifteen years caring for hundreds of pets while dreaming of owning my own facility. My partner Nick and I looked at almost every kennel business that came up for sale in Canterbury, but none of them were right. We wanted to offer dogs the best option possible, somewhere that felt just like sleeping over at a friends house. With that in mind we decided to convert the barn at our home in Woodend, into the dog care facility of our dreams and in 2021 we opened The Pup Club.
I have over 17 years professional experience in the pet boarding and dog daycare industry, I hold a BSc in biological sciences and certificates in animal management, zookeeping, pet boarding, dog group play management, safe dog handling, dog vaccines and dog facility infection control.
what we do differently
We are proud to offer your dog something different to other boarding kennel and daycare options. We have intentionally incorporated dog behaviour and welfare into our facility design and the way we manage the dogs, to create a calm environment where dogs can feel comfortable and safe.

We can really see the difference this makes to our guests and we are able to bond with your dog and get to know them in a way that is impossible to do in a traditional kennel setting. We will treat your dog as if they are our own and will provide honest feedback about how they get on during their stay with us.
DAILY RATES
Overnight boarding one dog $50 per day, including day of arrival and day of departure. Two dogs from the same household sharing a bedroom $85 per day. Dog daycare $36 per dog/per day.
